It has taken me a while to write this. There are SO many things that I wish to say but it would drag this post out to over several pages.
First of all I would like to welcome everyone back to Anime Omnitude. I really hope you like the new design and structure of the website. Believe me, it is several times faster than the old site, more organised and less hassle when updating it.
Over the years Anime Omnitude has relied heavily on it's members to help the site grow to what it once was. Back in the day the site was very popular and I want to thank you all for helping it grow back then. Special thanks go to Daniel and 'The Demons'. At the time I very much undervalued what they did for the site but now I am more mature I can see that all of you drove the site on.
I apologise for neglecting the site, becoming a lazy webmaster and making everyone leave. The reason for this is not that my love for anime disappeared. But rather the fact that I found it tedious and annoying to update the site myself. I really never wanted to leave the site but when you start to hate something that you created, then something is very wrong.
Once again, I apologise to all the previous staff members for my lack of communication and interest in them and with the website. Things have now changed and I hope that I am more mature.
In terms of where the website is going now.. Well just take a look for your self. We have a systematic method of posting anime and manga series download links onto the website. Meaning it so so much more easier to update the website. I hope to add about 100+ completed anime series to the website and maintain the 20 or so ongoing series that are currently being aired.
In the next couple of days the fan interaction section will be back, including fan art, videos and other tiddly bits.
I know I don't have the right but what I ask of you now is to bear with us while we grow again. Together. Please begin to participate on the forums again. I will be glad to hear from the old faces again.
Anime Omnitude's goal isn't about popularity anymore but just to become to trusted source of anime and manga information and downloads it once was.
